NEW iMACS RELEASED

The long awaited new iMacs were released today. Gone are the 20" and 24" and in their place are the new 21.5" and 27" models.

Overall I am very impressed with both the design and upgrades. All iMacs can hold 16G of RAM and up to 2TB of storage. All iMacs are 1080P HD, with the 27" beyond that, to even better than HD resolution.

Also new is an SD card slot, and the new Magic Mouse. The Magic Mouse is basically an Apple Trackpad from the MacBook, but in the shape of a mouse. There are no buttons, but instead a giant touchpad on the top, meaning that you can click anywhere on the mouse. All the functions of the Mighty Mouse are there, but with 2 and 3 finger gestures replacing the buttons and scroll wheel. However, it is missing is the side buttons for Expose and the Dashboard button, which used to be the trackball. This is a HUGE mistake in my mind as I use those buttons constantly, and would rather not have to access them using the keyboard.

Also introduced is an updated entry level MacBook, which retains it's white colour but has a new design.
