Red Bull's two Formula 1 teams, have posted a video on their websites explaining the reintroduced KERS boost system, as well as the new for 2011 Rear Wing adjustment. Basically, KERS stores kinetic energy released under braking and stores it in a battery, to be released at the driver's discretion. It provides extra horsepower to the engine, allowing an extra boost. It's almost like a real life mushroom from Mario Kart.
